Weeding of Landscaping

Commit to coming out on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in the spring, summer, and fall to keep our landscape beds clear of weeds. Estimated time approximately 2 hours per visit. (Need 4-6 volunteer per week.)

Parent Night Speaker

Parent Night is an opportunity for parents to learn more about what their children are doing at BBC as well as to learn new ways to engage with their children. Volunteers with expertise in education, learning games, parent/child conflict management, and other relevant topics are invited to come share with parents.

Share Your Knowledge with our Neighbors - Program Speaker / Activity Leader

What knowledge and experience can you share with our neighbors? Lead a conversation or activity for our women or teens for an evening. Need ideas? (but not limited to these) Personal testimony. Estate planning. Budgeting. Careers. Self defense. Cooking. Yoga. Tie-dying shirts. Card making.

Support a Child's Education Journey - BBC Math or Reading Assistant

Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays (math) or Thursdays (reading) from 4:15-5:30pm to help with math or reading enrichment activities. *New volunteers will not start until August 2025.

Provide Peace of Mind for a Parent

Providing safe and reliable childcare makes the difference in neighbors being able to attend programs that can change their life! Free childcare overcomes a significant barrier to attending a program. By volunteering your time, you are giving peace of mind to parents looking to become community leaders. Volunteer commitment is to commit at least twice a month.

Weekly Mondays 6:30-8:30pm
